New Pathways is a district dropout intervention and credit recovery program serving Juniors & Seniors who are significantly behind in credits needed for on-time graduation.

Students in the program have the option to:
Return to their home high school or Two Rivers High School once they have recovered enough credits for on-time graduation.
Earn their GED with our support if they choose an alternative path to graduation.
Transition into Adult Education if additional support is needed beyond their cohort’s graduation timeline.

Program Structure
New Pathways provides a blended learning environment, combining Edgenuity, Course/Classwork, with flexibility in scheduling
Referral Process:
Students who have fallen behind on credits are referred by their home school counselor or administration.
Attendance Requirement:
Students must attend a minimum of three days per week.

Academic Expectations
Students are expected to make academic progress every month (1.0 credits).
If a student is not attending regularly, demonstrating behavioral issues, or failing to make academic progress, they will meet with administration or counseling to determine next steps.
Students may be referred to Adult Education for continued credit recovery if necessary.

Path to Graduation
Students who do not recover enough credits to return to a traditional high school by their expected graduation year will seamlessly transition into the Weber School District Adult Education Program to earn their Adult Education High School Diploma.
